I beat the game in a game and all I got was this steam achievement

Took me 6 hours to beat the first time. Then 1 hour. Then 20m. Then 6 minutes. Has exactly the same compelling growth in YOUR skill as the full game. ALSO, was the first thing my partner spoke to me about on the day we met, so I’ve gotta love it for being the most significant icebreaker of my life

As a person who is terrible at platformers not called sonic the hedgehog, this is an evil, evil game with some fuckass difficulty. There are so many sharp directional change inputs that after a while I found it easier to use the thumbstick after a while. The amount of screen shake that's used made me close to nauseous at points. Even though 2/3rds in I just wanted it to be over, I can't deny the amount of heart and excellent platforming design present, even if I'm crap at it.

I'd never actually beaten this before but the allure of a steam achievement was enough to get me to the top

I'm convinced they only put this in the full game to make you believe Celeste is way better than it actually is because playing Celeste after classic feels sooooo good

Oh this is still fun! Some really challenging levels like in the fully realized version. Short and sweet
