Me aburrí después de jugar los primeros 8 mundos

Was decent. Even though it was extremely short it still somehow felt like it was dragging

Unnecessary remake that adds little to nothing that’s note worthy. Mario feels like he’s 100 tons and is not fun to control. I took a break from this game for about a month and simply have no desire to return and finish the last two stages.

Probably the most frustrated I've got playing a game in a while. It just doesn't feel good to play in any way, everything takes way too long.
I never played the original but I'm sure its an outstanding remake, just of a game that was never very fun to begin with. It looks fantastic, the cutscenes are stunning. The game just isn't any fun.
I hear the post game levels are good but I just can't face playing them after the main game, that was enough for me.

A solid remake of the GBA that ends up adding more levels and modes to extend replay value. The core level design for the main levels remain the same but receives the graphical remake upgrade as well as cinematic animated cut-scenes that are very well done.

The way the game is set up is very interesting, inviting the player to get "perfect" scores (by collecting all gifts plus the missing Mario action figure) for the main six levels for each world to then play the Mario toy levels where the more toy Marios you have, the better and easier the DK boss fight of each world become. This setup encourages the player to do its best at each level and is very well implemented. With that being said, obtaining a "Perfect" score is not that challenging for most levels but the reward makes it worth pursuing said score. Regular levels are for the most part straightforward and not very challenging but fun to play. Only the last few worlds and corresponding levels start posing a challenge. Luckily for those seeking a challenge, the "Expert" levels open up once you beat the game as well as a TimeTrail mode.

By the time you reach the new plus and Expert levels the gameplay and overall objectives of the game start becoming a bit tiring and repetitive but it's always better to have more extra content than none at all.

I mean......it's good.
It's still the same game as it was on GBA only now it has more levels, new music and completely recreate cutscenes and visuals, if you liked the GBA originale I'm sure you'll like this; I'm just confused on this games mere existence. Like was their a large enough group of people that were clamoring for a Mario vs. Donkey Kong remake on switch? I know this series has it's fans but I didn't think it had a strong enough fallowing to get a remake on the same level as Kirby return to dream land or Link's Awakening.
I'm glad those people finally have a remake of their favorite 10 year old handheld puzzle platformer, if those people even exist.
