In my opinion, the best modern day fighting game released. Everything from it's gameplay, to story, to accessibility, to it's overall content. It's all so well-made and always gets me wanting to continue climbing the online ranks!

Tekken 8 is my first experience with this legendary series kinda. Not even gonna lie this shit was intimidating to get into my first real experience was playing like maybe 20 minutes of tekken 7 looking at Kuma’s move list realize there was 100+ input commands and nopeing the fuck out of that fiasco in short going from like the maybe 10 to 15 input commands of GGXRD and Street fighter to that much was really such a shift to me that I was not ready for. Fastforward a few months later and tekken 8 comes out I think to myself “why not?” And buy the game giving it a genuine and honest chance and man I may be getting my ass kicked but I am having so much fun just learning and seeing what all the excitement about the series is and I can say for sure I will not be playing this game but I really want to check out everything else this game is beyond fun.

tekken finally reaches it's family feud's conclusion

valorant players unfortunately haven't

A game that has everything down almost perfectly but a few elements stop it from hitting that. The inclusion of beginner friendly features spoil the game slightly and make some rounds feel weirdly repetitive, in an attempt to make the game easier to pick up. If the developers decide to keep the game balanced well and they don't make the same choices as tekken 7 where they purposefully made characters strong to sell DLC then it might turn out alright. If not, the game will age a lot worse
