I have never played a more unique and polished rhythm game than Aaero. Let me first state that the developers created a phenomenal game and on top of that are extremely receptive to both praise and criticism. They care a lot about this game and the labor of love can easily be seen.

So what makes this unique? Well have you ever played a rhythm game where you have to also fight enemies? I haven't. You have to juggle fighting enemies while also doing the "rhythm" part of the game. Obviously this makes the game more difficult, but it's a well thought out challenge that's added to the standard rhythm portion. Also BOSS FIGHTS? These boss fights are just so much fun and each provides a different play style to overcome.

Lastly, the soundtrack. THE SOUNDTRACK. Monstercat music was an EXCELLENT CHOICE for this game, and the song choice did not disappoint. I recommend this to everyone and Aaero 2 is not far from being a reality :)

Cool in concept but super short and no replayability

Fun concept and good controller feedback, but the levels felt a little long and there isn't too much stuff to do. Not worth the price.

A fun rhythm action rail game that does a spectacular job with lobbing obstacles at you while you grind the railing to the music blasting at you. Aaero throws you in each level with a short time to see what's ahead.

I managed to get through a few songs and I enjoyed my time with it, but this is a game you really have to put all your time and energy into if you want to hear every song in the game. Kudos to you achievement hunters!

Overall Aaero is a creative, innovative rhythm game with pulsating songs, and clever unique ways to deliver the songs in a visual form that works well.

We don't get enough rhythm rail shmups all that much, so I'm glad that a game like this came out when it did. The music and art design is sound, and the gameplay is strong. It could use some more features, but it's still great either way.

It's a simple, beautiful game. It does exactly what it sets out to do, which is to be rhythm rail shooter. I loved it. I don't think I want to play too much more after my two hours with it, but that's not a complaint.
