I was hoping the consensus might be wrong and there could be a good tennis game hidden somewhere in here, but it turns out everyone was right–this game just isn't very good.

Gameplay is a built around a risk-reward system of power and placement. A perfectly placed power shot can often win the point, but if mistimed, the ball will go out. This makes sense in theory, but is frustrating in practice due to how small and sometimes unpredictable the timing window can be. The result is more unforced errors and out of bounds plays than all the other tennis games I've played combined.

The Career mode is supposed to be AO Tennis 2's saving grace, and I also found it underwhelming. The novelty of cutscenes and press conferences wear off quickly based on how often they repeat, and the management options and other features are light at best.

If you're looking for a good tennis game to play today, your best bet is probably to go back to the PS3/XBox 360 era and pick up Top Spin or Virtua Tennis depending on your taste.

Un buen juego para los fanaticos del tennis

...Its a tennis game. The platinum was not super hard nor very fun.

Not very good lol I refunded it

It's a solid tennis game with good core gameplay. Otherwise it's a pretty boring experience. The character creation isn't deep and the career mode is just okay. I had fun for a couple hours but it's just very very meh after awhile. There's not many tennis games on the market, so if you're absolutely starved for a tennis game give it a chance, but it's just okay.
