Codename Red, which is being made by Assassin's Creed Odyssey developer Ubisoft Quebec and has the same creative director, is the next big, Valhalla-like flagship title in the franchise, set in Feudal Japan. This project is said to allow players to "experience the full Shinobi fantasy" in this long-requested setting for the series. Its launch begins what Ubisoft is calling “period three” in the Assassin’s Creed series, and will launch into the Assassin's Creed InfinityY Hub. Players will experience the full Shinobi fantasy in this open world RPG title set during Feudal Japan: Assassin’s Creed Codename Red.
