super meat boy stage design/difficulty with standard metroidvania saving. leads to a lot of needless backtracking from savepoint instead of actually being able to attempt the harder challenges on offer. not my favorite design philosophy.

lembro que quebrou um galho mas não sei se jogaria de novo

There are some standout, wild design choices in this you can only find in a passionate doujin title. Like "Walking to the right" being an optional pickup, or being able to parry deadly spikes on the floor.

Movement feel finicky at first, and bosses seem unreasonable, until you start to discover the hidden, busted possibilities of your moveset. The game-feel seems to improves alongside your own skill, as if you're learning the weird language the devs speak. There is a learning curve to some clunkier aspects of the controls at first, but nothing too bad.

I enjoyed it enough, but not so much to improve my item completion or unlock the Chelsea playthrough. Watch a speedrun of it maybe instead, those are cool to watch.

One time I mentioned this game to my mom, whose favorite animal is rabbits, and she said in the most pleading voice I've ever heard, "Bunny must LIVE!" Unfortunately for her, Bunny does a lot of dying in this game because it's very difficult. If you're into that, though, you'll probably have a good time.

it's been so long that i shelved this game, i don't remember anything about it.

Could've been an alright metroidvania if it weren't for the very picky controls, particularly on some wall jumping segment which is where I dropped this game. Supposedly said controls are fixed in the PS4/Vita version but I've yet to confirm that.
