combining modern cod with a bad battle royale type of gameplay might be one of the worst fps experiences i ever had

first of all the prep time is way to much,is like 5 minutes to find a match,another 2 minutes for it to start and another minute just dropping into the map,you already have there 8 minutes in a match when nothing has happened.

before i make any other comments first i want to state the main problem that makes this game awful,is the idea itself.look cod gameplay loop and low ttk only works because there are quick respawns and a small map size,it makes for addicting gameplay and the game needs to be not that punishing when they kill you because a lot of the kills in cod in general comes from luck who see who first.

warzone throws all of this out of the fucking window,the maps are way too big and open,making for you to find an enemy and go from place to place take a lifetime,but when you do is more likely than not them shooting you from 700 feet away with a sniper rifle or other long range weapons,so you most likely will be killed with no counter measure.

also most of the maps that they be adding recently are honestly awful,the only thing that maked old warzone maps cool was the city battles where you can go to the skycrapers and shit,but recently they only be adding deserts that had near no buildings.

the low ttk is also awful for a battle royale,battle royales need to have high ttk because getting killed in 5 seconds when you have prep during a match for 20 minutes sucks,thats why good battle royales have high ttk like apex or fortnite

and something i actually like from this game is the gulag,but honestly winning it is kind of worthless since first,you most likely will be killed inmediatly after respawning because since you spawn close to where you die,the guy that just kills you can stay close and try to kill you,that most of the time they will,and even when you dont fight those rats,you have really low chance to succeed since you have absolutely no loot and deep in the game that is a death sentence,so most of the time is just more worth it to search for a new game.

and even past all of that,the gameplay still feels awful,ttk is incosistent,the game is extremely luck based,it has awful clunky movement especially vertical wise,controller players have unfair advantage,the game is badly balanced,it just doesnt feel good

also there isnt anything interest story,aesthetic or sound wise in this game and the cosmetics are just mostly trash and forgettable

the only good thing i can say about this game is that is fun to watch people playing it or streaming it,but playing it yourself is a completely different experience

also is most likely fun playing it with friends,but what game isnt right?
