An expanded game of Carmageddon: Reincarnation

In Carmageddon, the player races a vehicle against a number of other computer controlled competitors in various settings, including city, mine and industrial areas. The player has a certain amount of time to complete each race, but more time may be gained by collecting bonuses, damaging the competitors' cars or by running over pedestrians. Races are completed by either completing the course as one would a normal racing game, "wasting" (wrecking) all other race cars, or killing all pedestrians on the level. The game was notable for its realistic and ground-breaking physics and for its in-game movie making features. It was also one of the earliest examples of sandbox 3D driving games, and may have influenced other later games including Driver and the Grand Theft Auto series.

The ultimate Carmageddon version anyone can pick up and play without fiddling with glide wrappers or dosbox on older releases.

A reincarnation of a game originally released back when times were simpler and racing games tried to do something new and unique rather than having you drive for the millionth time around the Nürburgring while gating most content behind DLC.

An surprising remake, made like nothing had changed in 19 years) There is no content. We just drive, crash into cars of rivals to break them, collect bonuses, such as Postal from the world of racing.

Some good mindless carnage for a few hours, but when the vehicle handling and camera are the most dangerous opponents in your vehicular combat game, there's only so much fun to be had.
