No llegué a avanzar demasiado, aunque está gracioso el sistema de objetos

Enjoyment - 7/10
Difficulty - 3/10

Grabbed this game on sale for under £1. A few performance issues when there was moments of onscreen craziness, but it doesn't take away from the overall experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my playthroughs! Recommend getting this on sale, its worth it!

Perfectly fine little roguelite dualstick shooter that offers a fun and compelling little loot system, but little else and is over before you know it. For me, the goal of a roguelite is to get better, run by run, until you finally manage to beat the game and then my interest wanes quickly after that. What is there to do after you conquer it and win? And I beat this one on my fifth try, since all you really need is one decent weapon drop and you're good to go. Mine was some kind of railgun type thing that seemed to have infinite range and two-shot most things in the game, all the way to the end. The game would only have gotten easier from there, as the regular "arcade mode" allows you to keep and upgrade your loot for future runs.

I was entertaining the idea of going further just to see how OP I can make my character by stacking more and more upgrades, but then I wanted to check out the hardcore mode (that doesn't have meta-progression) and there really doesn't seem to be any way to switch between modes outside of when the game asks you if you want to switch after beating arcade mode, and in the process of trying to get to a main menu in order to switch modes, the game ended up deleting my loot since that apparently counts as part of "a run" even though I had died several times, quit the game and so on without losing my loot, so I guess the game made the decision for me and I won't be starting over with no loot in my inventory.

So, yeah, fun for a few hours and with a solid idea with the loot system, but not really worth it when there's so much else to play out there. They should make an expanded and improved sequel to this one.
