I remember playing this when it was brand new and the motion blur from the camera movements made me feel like I was having a stroke.

I don't understand how it is that Square can never figure out how to do action combat for FF games, when they perfected it with Kingdom Hearts in 2002. Just do that!!! You got it right the first time!!!!

why did they make the ending like that. evil

The only reason that this got 2 stars is that, despite how much I disliked it's bland story, horrible screen tearing, unimaginative combat, forgettable cast, and game breaking glitches I DID finish it at least. So that has to be something in it's favor. I guess.

It felt a little unfinished in certain parts, but this was potentially the best way I imagined the next FFs could have been: overworld, great narrative, battle system (which was good for PSP terms) and all that.

I have the feeling that I liked XIII more than this.

The game started so strong, very heavy on the story and mechanics. I loved the feel of the combat and that PlayStation rpg feel but….. then that was just it. The story never got clear and the missions just got more frustrating as they expected you to farm characters prior to advancing. This is not how you pace a game. I was happy with my time but could not stomach finishing it past the 4th chapter.
