Gunpoint

released on Jun 03, 2013

Gunpoint is a stealth puzzle game that lets you rewire its levels to trick people. You play a freelance spy who takes jobs from his clients to break into high security buildings and steal sensitive data. To get past security, you'll need to make creative use of your main gadget: the Crosslink. It lets you see how all the security devices in a level are wired up, and then you can just click and drag with the mouse to wire them differently. So you can connect a lightswitch to a trapdoor, then flick it when a guard walks across to make him fall through.

Very funny, quite smooth, surprisingly difficult at times.

A 'boutique' game. Tom Francis' vision for a Deus-Ex inspired corporate espionage/murder mystery/hacking game doesn't overstay its welcome. The soundtrack is an absolute banger of techno-jazz and the writing is also a real highlight, full of silliness reminiscent of Airplane! and The Naked Gun. The only downside is the game's length; clocking in around 3 hours for any% and about 7 hours for 100% achievements and max level score, the game is over before it really feels like the mechanics are fully realized.

A história é bem boa. Tadinha da Katie...

This game rocks - neat little action stealth puzzle thing. The two main mechanics are jumping and rewiring switches and it all feels so good - a delight from start to finish.
