Hard to get into if you aren't a blizzard fan. Never liked the simplified card game.
Started in Season 2, May of 2014 if I remember correctly. Played until 2022 october (but left for un'goro which was around 3 months). Got the first 9 heroes to 500 wins and later got Demon Hunter as well.
Probably over 2000 hours, been there with all the expansion (except for ungoro) and since the first expansion the game was slowly going down and down. The classic card game power creep was becoming more and more prevalent. By the end you had decks that would win the game by turn 5 without leaving any chance to you, at the beginning all the matches were at the very least 8 turns but most of the time 15+ turns.
Also with everysingle patch the game gets more microtransactions (because of the falling playerbase) at first you could only buy packs and arenas.Now you have pack, arenas, expansions, expansion preorders, hero skins, battlegrounds battlepasses, mercenary tokens and possibly other I might be forgetting.
The game was amazing in its first 3 months, and slowly getting worse and worse with every single patch.

This game sucks, but damn the community was fun to be a part of. Also crazy to think Hearthstone was one of the only games I played for like 2 years
