On paper, this game should be great. In practice it's just decent. The combat system isn't the best I've ever experienced, but it is very fresh and unique. I haven't played a game that doesn't feel like a Soulsborne and/or Batman: Arkham in a very long time and it's nice. Hogwarts is indescribably beautiful. The game could just be flying around the environments and it would be worth it just for the marvel the map is alone. Enemies are varied and interesting enough with thought put into how spells interact with their move sets, another point to the combat system. The world is incredibly immersive, combos have depth, customization is a lot of fun to play with and tailor how you want to look. The puzzles (where they exist) are very fun, the map is massive and there is a LOT to sink your teeth into on it. Unfortunately, this game falls short in some really important areas, namely the story, characters, and atmosphere. The stories just don't have much appeal. I haven't found myself caring about much about the plot of the game, intimidated by its villains or invested in what is driving it forward. The characters are really hard to care about and aren't very compelling or interesting, save for a select few. The biggest issue I've had with this game is the lack of music. The game's music is incredible, but it only seems to play in the world's hubs (Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, etc.) and not at all in the open world, where it's needed most to enhance the visuals. The silence can make traversing the environment just plain boring and agonizing, particularly before you have unlocked traversal options and key fast travel points. While, these things resolve the problem, the core problem still remains. Traversing such a beautiful world should be so much more engaging and it points to something that titles like Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and Horizon: Zero Dawn as a few examples have done much better.

Overall a decent game that probably skyrockets in value if you're a fan of the franchise.

É o jogo de Harry Potter em mundo aberto que eu sempre quis, e tive as expectativas muito bem atendidas, pois é a realização de qualquer fã que queira ter a oportunidade de finalmente se sentir em Hogwarts, ser selecionado para a sua casa e praticar um vasto arsenal de feitiços que sempre quis executar.

Hogwarts Legacy junta as duas franquias do Wizarding World (Harry Potter e Animais Fantásticos) e te dá a oportunidade de desfrutar dos vários elementos marcantes das tais, como domar criaturas mágicas alá Newt Scamander, ou desvendar os segredos de Hogwarts como o próprio Harry James Potter, com momentos emocionantes que com certeza farão você se lembrar de suas cenas favoritas dos filmes.

O combate é surpreendentemente satisfatório e bem feito, os efeitos são lindos, obviamente, mas o destaque visual vai para os cenários; o castelo de Hogwarts é a melhor versão de Hogwarts já feita, superando facilmente as versões dos livros e dos filmes; pra mim, é a Hogwarts definitiva. A ambientação do jogo é maravilhosa, toda construção, todo acampamento, vila e ruínas são extremamente lindos, e a iluminação ajuda ainda mais a realçar a beleza dos locais.

A interação com os de mais personagens é bem característica como costumamos ver no decorrer da franquia. Cada professor tem o seu jeitinho único de ser, lembrando a mesma unicidade dos professores que conhecemos na história original. E as missões e interações dadas pelos colegas estudantes são o ponto alto da história do jogo.

Enfim, queira você duelar contra bruxos das trevas, voar numa vassoura ou montar nas costas de um hipogrifo, se divertirá bastante vivendo como o bruxo que sempre quis ser.

Hogwarts Legacy is like the dream of every Harry Potter fan, finally realizing the dream of attending Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry! The first open world Harry Potter game that perfectly re-created part of the wizarding world while giving it their own little twist. HL is definitely a must buy for hardcore fans of the series as for casual gamers looking for a magical journey. Gameplay wise the game is pretty fun with a creative combat mechanic that the former harry potter games definitely could've used. Traversal is made easy by way of broom or a magical creature, ready to face dark wizards and help those in need, human or non-human. There's plenty to see around the world with some cool activities although the activities become quite stale the more you progress through the game. In terms of post game content, there is definitely a gap needed to be filled by way of a DLC perhaps in the near future. Luckily there is still the room of requirement where you can grow plants and brew potions and take care of your magical creatures. The game is not perfect but it's a wonderful experience for both newcomers to the series as well as the hardcore fans.
