This is a VR Shadow of the Colossus but if they decided to make it in a Late 90's Cyber aesthetic. It's a very lonely world that does an amazing job of making you feel small as you traverse it. Impressive, solemn, eerie, yet inviting. I cannot wait to play this game more and defeat all the bosses.

now this is a real man's game

This is the greatest open world game I've ever played and I'm not sure anything else from that genre would top it for me. Just the freedom of movement really appeals to me. I think the world has a lot of charm and it's so much fun going up against the gigantic machines. When I figured out there was a whole section under the map on accident that was one of the coolest gaming moments I've ever had. It's incredible, and if you have a lot of experience in VR, this is a must play

This game is pure art. Exhilarating, breathtaking, and truly unique. The Shadow of the Colossus comparisons have obvious merit, but this game has much more to it than that. If Half Life: Alyx is the pinnacle of the AAA VR experience, Jet Island is the pinnacle of the experimental indie VR experience.

At a first glance I'm sure you're thinking it looks like a janky asset flip used for a quick buck. Never judge a book by it's cover because that couldn't be farther from the truth. Flying around in the addicting movement system and getting lost in this world is like a dream sequence. This game has such a "wow" factor that at times I physically sat on the ground and enjoyed the moment.

An absolute blast and easily my 2nd or 3rd favorite VR experience up there with Alyx and exploring worlds in VRchat. The sense of speed is incredible and I wish I knew what magic they performed to keep me from getting nauseous at all throughout the whole thing. Traversing the world, finding the drones and modifiers, and overcoming the large-scale SOTC-ish boss fights was a joy one can only get from VR and really shows off the strengths of the platform. Can't really think of any downsides except all the drone fights are pretty much the same and could've used some variation.
