after watching that unbelievably terrible work of “art” that was the fnaf movie which tried to be a horror movie about ghostly possession a psychological thriller tale of a traumatized man a disney channel tv movie special with a subpar “we are gonna put some angst at ⅔ of the movie between the main leads and we are gonna make them reconcile after a common struggle” typa plot and last but not least make sense of the shithole that is the overarching fnaf plot and retcon the shit out of every single game in the series and failing remarkably in all 4 points of interest even though the animatronics designs and the cinematography were actually pretty cool . i was itching for a good fnaf inspired experience

enter JR’s possibly the most incredibly tight fnaf fangame experience ive ever had till now i see some people here talking about the creator being problematic or something but i dont care i havent paid a dime for this game so im not supporting no one here

the gameplay is defo the highlight here theres some degree of classic fnaf here in the camera and resource management but the true focus of the game is an investigative type of gameplay loop where you have to find out which one of the 6 animatronics roaming in the place has currently a ghost inside of them and to do that you need to look out for clues that can give out the identity of the culprit

sure this is not the only thing you have to look out for the animatronics have stability levels that when they reach 0 are gonna jumpscare you and to avoid that you need to do some maintenance work on them but thats something you will get used to now the main gimmick is what we want its absolutely BREATHTAKING how good it is i mean some clues are better than others i still dont know how light flickering actually works but i dont care the atmosphere is oppressive the gameplay is tense and the animatronics models are amongst the scariest ive ever seen in the blender fan models of all these fnaf inspired games not gonna lie just look them up and youll know what i mean scarily high quality

so theres that 5 nights and boom the overarching plot isnt really interesting to actually make me care that much about it but paulbear is my sweet baby and i will protect him till the end of my days im not lying here hes a sweetheart and i gotta say that the stop motion clay models of the animatronics in the cutscenes are so cute what the hell

the 6th night OOOOOOOOOOOH is definitely my highlight here the first part is a fnaf2 copy and paste experience with the new animatronics though so cant really argument on that what you see is what you get but the second part when you get to know the mangle and fend off from her her tail and her ghost is probably the most claustrophobic and tense ive felt since one night at flumptys 3 flumpty night so kudos to actually make me shit my pants a little this time around an horror game that actually makes me anxious is always gonna get a thumbs up from me absolutely hysterical cant wait for them to release the sequel in the meantime i kinda want to sloppy toppy jrs foxy is that legal

Muito melhor do que um fan game de fnaf deveria ser.

it's a fun lil game, totally throwing the previous game's mechanics out (except for the last night)

Facilmente uma das melhores coisas relacionadas a fnaf dos últimos anos
