This is probably the least nostalgic Lego game for me, so it didn't really age well. It was fine, but the nature of Harry Potter makes for the worst Lego games in my opinion. It's definitely the least fun. The collectibles sucked too. I achieved 100% without using a guide at all, which I do not recommend. Overall, this feels like the base Lego game, if that makes sense.

An absolutely charming game and a banger of a Lego game, this was the first lego Game that I 100%ed as a child and I still love it to this day, getting it back on the PS4 with the Collection was just the tip of the cake, god this is one of my favourite games of all times but I would be wrong to give it 5 stars just on that. The game is notorious for it's many gamebreaking bugs something that sadly did not get fixed in the collection.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is the perfect game for Potter fans who enjoy lighthearted fun. Relive the first four movies with classic LEGO humor, collect a ton of characters, and solve puzzles throughout Hogwarts. The controls can be a bit finicky at times, and it's not super challenging, but if you want a charming trip down memory lane with those iconic plastic bricks, this game is a delight!

I really dig the Lego games and this one was incredibly fun and had more gameplay mechanics than past lego games because of the spell casting.
