Aquí ya mejoró la cosa, aunque Black Panther sea una "copia" de Spider-Man, es entretenido y me gustó como representaron a Wakanda.

I enjoyed this update. Black Panther plays well. I like the boss fight. Christopher Judge did an amazing job as Black Panther in the game.

so achei que ela se estende um pouco dms, mas é a melhor coisa do jogo

Black Panther: War for Wakanda is the first Expansion of Marvel's Avengers. It might be a little confusing to some people because of Kate and Clint's DLC's. How can this be the first Expansion? Well, Kate and Clint's DLC's were called Operations. You might guess that the expansion is bigger than an operation which is true, at least according to the developers.

War for Wakanda adds a bunch of things and it does all of them for free. There is a new character, new story, new location and some other updates like the UI update but i won't talk about them. Let's start with the story. Usually it's the best part of any Marvel's Avengers content.

Our story is about AIM attacking Wakanda with the help of Ulysses Klaue and their goal is of course obtaining Vibranium. While Wakanda's borders were closed after A Day, in order to stop the AIM threat and save his country, T'Challa accepts help from The Avengers.

The original story of Marvel's Avengers was great. Thanks to Kamala's journey from start to finish. Kate's story was fine but it was more of like a setup for Clint's story. I really liked Clint's story because it featured very few characters and an interesting but short plot. It knew it's scope so it used that knowledge to build a smaller but more personal story.

War for Wakanda does not know it's scope. You might be thinking this DLC is around 4,5 hours. It's an expansion, isn't it. Kate and Clint's stories were 90 minutes each so this needs to be longer than those. Well, it's slightly longer. Probably 2 hours or a little bit longer. And it tries to tell the story of T'Challa, Okoye, Shuri, Zawavari, Ulysses Klaue, Crossbones, Wakanda, the relationship between Avengers and Black Panther, relationship between Shuri and Black Panther and the relationship between Klaue and Wakanda. In 2 hours!

The story here is just too much. And in the end, you will feel nothing. It fails to tell what Wakanda is and what it represents, it fails to tell a meaningful story between Klaue and T'Challa, it doesn't even try telling a story about Crossbones. He is just there to say they have added 2 villains in this DLC. It's just so disappointing. And there is also a cliffhanger that will lead to the upcoming Wakanda raid. So yeah, the story isn't completed. Epilogue will happen later this month in the Wakanda raid.

I didn't liked the story, i didn't liked the characters. I wanted to like the story but it ended before it gave me the core pillars of a story. A reason, a bond between hero and villain and so on. It actually includes these things, but it just happens so fast because they have no time. The story has no time to breathe. I really think this story could have been the best of Marvel's Avengers stories. It has the potential. But it needed to be longer. 4 hours could have been nice. Or they needed to change their focus. Why do we have Crossbones, why do we have Okoye, why do we have Zawavari? From what I have seen he only teased some future characters and that's it?

I can see some really good dialogue scenes between T'Challa and Zawavari. Maybe Zawavari could have shown some visions to T'Challa. About his father? About Klaue? Maybe we could have played those. It's, ok. Let's change the subject or i will go on forever.

Voice acting is great. Christopher Judge plays T'Challa and he is definitely the star of the show. But the rest of the characters are also great. Now let's talk about Black Panther as a character. I really liked him.

His animations are great, his heroics are very nice. I love his spear throw and the big panther he can spawn. You can also upgrade that to summon 2 AI controlled Dora Milaje. That's fantastic. I really think the amount of customization in the skills is the best in Black Panther. I had to make some hard decisions while choosing the skill variations.

His challenge card has some nice emotes and costumes. I loved the takedown too. Definitely recommending that. And there are some audio logs. I haven't listened to them yet but i think i have all of them. I always like those logs and i hope they included some extra details that can give this world a depth.

Now we come to the new location, Wakanda. It's definitely the best part of this DLC. Wakanda looks beautiful. There are some new mission concepts like a big vibranium extraction machine and a tower defense like mission and a corrupted vibranium mission. They are cool. The new enemies are good but they have so much health, it becomes very button mashy. And there is an enemy that blocks your vision, i really didn't liked that.

So yeah. War for Wakanda is a must play if you are a Black Panther fan or a Marvel's Avengers fan. Other than that, it's skippable. The best part about it is the fact that it's free. And the worst part about it is probably the story. It was such a disappointment for me.
