Nuclear Blaze

released on Oct 18, 2021

Nuclear Blaze is a 2D firefighting game from the creator of Dead Cells, with all the devastating backdrafts, exploding walls and sprinklers you could expect. Fight your way through a mysterious facility and try to keep the blaze under control. As a trained firefighter, you're being air-dropped right in the middle of this hell blaze to investigate and look for survivors. But the unexpected presence of an unknown military facility might somewhat affect your plans. Using only your fire hose and your skills, you try to clear all fires in each area. But that won't be an easy task: wildfire will spread around you, and even just opening a door might become a serious threat if not planned carefully. But Nuclear Blaze isn't only about firefighting: the world is packed with secrets, story bits and... cats to save!

Juego corto, visualmente muy bonito con niveles exigentes pero no imposibles, bastante entretenido

Aw man this is great. Just the right amount of short and sweet. It feels great hopping around as a cute wee guy saving the day.

We need more firefighting games.

Quite a nice firefighter platformer. Relatively short, and the platforming especially the jumping wasn't quite as what you would expect from a modern platformer. Strange difficulty spikes out of nowhere, where levels started to get really stressful.

Extrêmement court, mais extrêmement réussi !

Atmospheric and impressive firefighting metroidvania

This is a pretty cool tiny little game that has one specific concept that it executes decently enough. Good sound, excellent pixel art and a fun fire fighting conceit but the artificial difficulty borne from simply denying you vital tools like "shoot water while on a ladder" doesn't really make for much of a difficulty curve. It's fine. It's over in a couple of hours and has some unwelcome faff but it was apparently made by a dad for his kid who loved firefighters so I'm not putting it down any more than this. It's cheap and short.
