there's a sonic costume in this and it looks very funny in-game

Gli acquisti intelligenti del mio coinquilino

Uninspiring game with different Olympic sport disciplines presented as minigames with avatar-created-looking type of characters. Some of the minigames are better designed than others but overall the game aims to be an easy pick-up-and-play family game.

I actually liked back when SEGA made their first collaboration with Sonic and Mario in their first Olympic Games licensed game based on the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics event, but this honestly did not enjoy me as much as i did when i was a child.

Developed by SEGA, it's the first Olympic Games licensed game that doesn't feature neither Mario nor Sonic but instead features highly customizable athletes for you to have fun with. The game was first released in continental Asia when the Olympics Tokyo event used to be planned for the year 2020, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event was delayed to 2021, thus the game suffered a global release until the next year, which however was kind of offtiming.
I didn't buy it out of spite, but my brother had me waste money of this kind of crap game that is more like a extremely underdeveloped and boring version of SEGA's Mario & Sonic games, besides, i only remember that the 2008 Beijing game was much better (at least because i played the Nintendo DS version which was really that fun because it also had Dream Events). Otherwise, it can be a quite fun game for families but i'll be honest, if you want to play together, buy it for Switch if you can, otherwise i recommend instead Nintendo Switch Sports which is also a nostalgia trip of what Wii Sports used to be.
Online play is average, Unranked and Ranked. It's not bad, but imho there's not lots to do.

I also bought it apparently when i used to follow a toxic and cringy italian Twitch streamer known as Tumblurr... yeah i'm not even gonna say anything about him.

By the way, waste of money, not worth for your Platinum collection. The price tag really tells that there isn't actually tons of good stuff in it, just the usual Olympical events you'd mostly see from the previous games.
One more thing tough... i don't even know why i am reviewing this game one year after its release, that it's not even worth playing considering the event's already over. Just grab a copy of Mario & Sonic, a very good one, at least i recommend the 2008 Beijing one just as said above.

Fuck every stupid flick motion this game wants you to do and fuck the baseball game

Decent family game but there just isn’t that much there. Wears off too easily and I only played it this year because it was free on PS Now. Again fun time but yeah. Also where the fuck was Mario? Sonic was there, so where the fuck was Mario???
