Not as great as the first in terms of main story, but lots of enjoyable side content and world building

While I have some bones with the narrative, there's no denying the combat, dialog, and exploration in Pillars of Eternity II is an absolute masterwork. It's a worthy successor to the first, which is one of my favorite RPGs of all time. If you like CRPGs for their combat, this game is a buffet of character building goodness, with one of the most rich and satisfying multiclass systems I've ever encountered.

One of the best RPGs of all time, this game has some of the best companions of any RPG series. The stakes are high and the game pressures you without feeling overbearing. I felt some parts of it lacked polish and the combat was a bit messy.

The world is the stand out piece here, very indepth and cool lore. The quests are also great, with lots of options and multiple ways to accomplish things.

Like the first one though, the combat is really bad and put me off really immersing myself in the game.

Si bien el combate mejora exponencialmente respecto al primero, la traducción al español y el ritmo no son algo especialmente destacable. Buen juego, aún así

Super good game. Played through it twice and loved the build variety and the open nature of the world. Great world, great items, beautiful backgrounds. Made me want to go back and actually finish the first game this time around.
