The sheer force of not being a broken ugly mess bumps this game a whole star above Garten of BanBan, but it’s still not worth your time. Poppy Playtime is carried by one mildly interesting puzzle mechanic that lacks any emergent gameplay. There is one solution to a couple problems until you get chased by the scripted chase sequence monster rinse and repeat.
