DLC for Resident Evil 5

Lost in Nightmares is the first story-based DLC for Resident Evil 5, set during a previous mission hinted at in flashback from that game. It is about 1 hour in length, depending on the difficulty, and experienced players can beat it in under 30 minutes. It is, all together, one chapter filled with classic puzzles and moments that will take players back to the first Resident Evil. It also features a scoreboard with worldwide rankings based on performance in the scenario as well as collection items. This extra chapter is not accessible from the start of the game. It becomes unlocked after Chapter 3-1, the Marshlands, has been completed in the core campaign.

Dentre as DLCs de Resident Evil 5, esta é a minha favorita. O único ponto negativo é ter apenas um tipo de inimigo, mas compensa pela batalha final que é épica.

nice lil trip down memory lane

O COISA RUIM VOLTOU.

pra sempre lembrarei do meu mano chegando apenas com a lapiana pra bater no boss final

RE5 is probably the only resident evil game I haven't written an insufferably long review for and it's because despite it being by far my least favourite I don't have much to say. It's clunky as fuck, somehow managing to feel more slow and janky than RE4 despite coming after and being more action focused, it looks like shit, the story is horrific (only barely saved by wesker and some other campy moments), and it never does anything as creative or fun with the two player system as 6. It also somehow manages to be the most racist game in a series with some serious issues in that department. The strongest part is definitely the first few hours, which are legitimately pretty fun, but after them is a slow painful descent into the worst game design in the entire franchise.
I had heard this was the best part of the game, and I kind of do agree. It gets as close as RE5 will ever get to having good atmosphere, taking a step back for some more puzzle-focused gameplay. I was not expecting the lore to be so good as well (the revelations 2 foreshadowing?). Tragically it's still resident evil 5, so it still barely works and feels like dogshit to control. Despite trying it's best to recapture the gameplay of RE1 at the end of it I mostly felt glad that there was one more piece of RE5 I'll never have to touch again.
