This is our attempt to create a worthy Garry's Mod sequel. We've been playing with it for a long time. It started off on the Unreal Engine, but now it's being developed on Source 2. It's not going to be Garry's Mod 2. My hope is that it will eclipse what is possible in Garry's Mod rather than simply be a modern version of it. The current status is "heavy development". The aim is to give some people access in the first half of 2021, and give everyone else access in the second half of 2021.

Not a lot in the game yet
Really not great in its current state. Movement feels horrible, there's no gamemodes that are in a truly playable state or feel fleshed out, it's all a massive work in progress, and I don't know if it'll live up to its potential when there's so many better options for making your own experiences like what S&box offers. Wishing Garry Newman and his team the best on the project, but my hopes for it aren't all too high.
I have read the defense Garry has written for putting the sausage people into the game, and while I actually agree with it completely! I'm still not a fan of hairy weiners
