A port of Thunder Force AC
This game is based on the arcade port of Thunder Force III. It will include an online ranking system for the score attack modes. The "kids mode" difficulty option from the Sega Saturn version, Thunder Force GP 2, will be included with some other additions. Something unique to this Sega Ages version of the game will also be added but it is still being developed.

It's TFIII with some changes that are cool but not necessarily better one way or another.
It's fine that this one's linear instead of letting you choose the stages. The order is the path I always take anything, and the one I assume most reasonable people would take.
The stages that replace 4 and 5 are more consistently good, but have some spotty bits here and there.
The soundfont's VERY close to the Genesis version, but a bit less textured and a bit brighter. Not a bad change, but it does feel just a bit off.
The extra ships are a really nice bonus but are all noticably weaker than the default Styx, and TFIII is a game where throwing off your damage output by even a little bit makes some enemies a lot more dickish. They're cute novelties but not really fun ways to play the game.
