Sengoku Basara 3 Utage

released on Nov 10, 2011
by Capcom

Sengoku BASARA 3 Utage is an expansion to the Sengoku BASARA series by Capcom and was released for PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii on November 11, 2011. Sengoku BASARA 3 Utage was meant to be a more light-hearted and fun game than its predecessor, hence the title "Utage", which means party. While it keeps the same background and general information about the time period as in Sengoku BASARA 3, some of the eight new stories only marginally reference the plot that was introduced in the previous game. Sengoku BASARA 3 save data can be synced with Sengoku BASARA 3 Utage. If they are unlocked, alternate costumes and personal items will be brought over. Synching save data with certain achievements will give the player extra gold.

Huge step up. This expansion is excellent and should be a top pick. This is probably the game in the franchise with the most content diversity, you have Story, Conquest, Free Battle, Missions, 1on1 battles, alot of allies to choose from.

This game has the best replayability of the franchise, this game conquest mode is the BEST. Aside from normal conquest we have Dream chance conquest which allows us to bet on which faction will win, so we gotta start defeating enemies so that our bet can survive the longest.
But isn't the dream chance alone that makes this the best conquest, its the stage diversity. This game conquest is always giving you diff options instead of recycling the same stages over and over again.
Basara2 conquest has no stage diversity, Basara4 conquest isn't really a conquest it just throws up random stages. Basara3 has the Basara2 conquest with the randomness of Basara4.

This game could be perfect if not for some characters in the roster. 6 of the characters added in this expansion, in comparison with the rest of the roster who have 7 diff designed weapons, 2 oufits and 3 special moves, doesn't have outfit nor weapon design diff and only 1 special move.
This is something i never got past of but since they atleast are playable i cant complain.

thank you hit singer tm revolution for giving me samurai brainrot once again. it's really nice to see how big of a senbasa fan he is, considering his album ''utage'' is wholly dedicated to this game.
i heard about this game way before but i fixated on samurai warriors instead and this version being JPN only didn't help much. luckily, few years later being a japanology major led me here and i'm glad to play the complete version of the game.

senbasa utage is very fun! it's a classic musou game, some characters do have a bit of annoying combat kit but the quirks and cool character designs along with funny and heartwarming interactions make up for some of the gripes i had with this game.
i'm sad it's not localised because most of the interactions between characters are too funny (date and sasuke roasting each other through poetry, sorin literally singing all the time, oichi and mitsuhides interaction etc etc.)

probably gonna stick a while longer playing as date masamune because they nailed his whole character, his design, kit, voice actor, personality, everything. unfortunately this game runs poorly on the rpcs3 emulator so i had to make my experience a bit shorter than intended 😞

Bruh Had The Nerve To Call Sengoku Basara Gay.........But Metal Gear Rising His Favorite Platinum Game..........#KiLLYOSELFTWICE
