I am probably too old for this genre now...
A great prequel to an equally great game.
Realism added to the game some seriousness of what was happening. The game as a whole is not bad, it’s still the same Sam, but it still went overboard.

Good gameplay, nice story, but not as good as expected.
I remember wanting to play this game when i was young, this was like my number 1 most wanted game, but then almost 10 years later i bought it for myself with my own money to be so incredibly dissapointed. the jokes dont land for me and the combat is just kinda over the top for the sake of it.
A pretty fun, Over the top shooter just like the rest of the series but alot of the cartoonish nature has been removed for a more realistic presentation with Ironsights for guns, manual reloading and sprinting included. making it feel more like a COD ripoff than a Serious Sam game.
It still has plenty of jokes and the amount of enemies they throw at you near the end is ridiculous.
I would recommend this if you enjoy this series or Quake, Wolfenstein and the older DOOM games
but I still think the Original serious sam games are better. Play them first.
