Silent Scope

by Konami

Silent Scope is an arcade game that puts the player in the shoes of a sniper during a series of terrorist incidents. The game uses a rifle that is mounted on the console, requiring players to physically alter their position in order to shoot accurately. In addition, the rifle's scope displays a close-up view of a small portion of the screen, representing the sniper's long-range view of the area where the rifle is pointed.

Mu guapo pa ser juego de lanzamiento de la consola

Beat this one at Galloping Ghost arcade in Chicago. It has a nice gimmick with the scope that worked pretty well. I liked that some levels had dudes show up really close to you that you just needed to shoot from the hip to hit quickly. Some of the problems would have been solved with more resolution in the scope or being able to toggle a zoom but I understand that's a big ask of a 2000 game. If you see this I suggest checking it out just for the novelty. It reminds me of Sega's earlier submarine games that had the periscope.

don't see an option for the arcade version but i played that one. the game itself is simple but the machine has a sniper rifle you move around to aim and the scope has a screen in it that zooms in on where you're aiming. pretty fun experience, worth the couple of quarters its costs to play for a while

Not the best Konami game that starts with Silent

Good, not great, referring to the arcade version.
