pretty awesome conceptually and in what it says about the arts, and specifically the RPGMaker culture existing at the time. better to make something shit and unique than something fine that's lacking originality.

however, playing it through to completion was kind of a slog. its super short, but the abrasive visuals and trivial combat system combine together to make something simultaneously overwhelming and kinda boring to play?

the soundtrack is incredible, the story and themes are pretty great, but its a game that's more fun to think about than it is to actually play i fear

It really does take someone with generational talent and profound thought to write something as clinically stupid as the Dracula dialogue. What an incredible experience this was.

this game introduced me to Ruth white and i am forever thankful for that...but about the game, my only gripe is that the second half felt really rushed like when i reached the city of forms i was like "is that it?? its already the end??" we barely explored leg horse house, and lack of content on the snowy wastelands and the beforementioned city of forms left a bad taste in my mouth
