Super Meat Boy

released on Oct 20, 2010

Super Meat Boy is a tough as nails platformer where you play as an animated cube of meat who's trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux.

the extras after beating the main game may be a bit too hard for me, maybe i'll go back to complete them someday, but this is such a good difficult platformer. (also i should maybe replay it at some point just to actually listen to the original original soundtrack whoospie)

My finger hurts so much from holding that trigger finger down so long towards the end, should have taken it easy...

Anyway, not getting that true ending anytime soon! Maybe one day!

Tough as nails but incredibly fun.

Theres not a lot I can say about this game. Simple. Hard. Rewarding. One of the few games I have 100%ed (technically 106%, but you know what I mean). If you like challenging platformers, this game is a must-play. If you don't, it's safe to skip. Has some banging music loops too. I like the aesthetic of The Rapture and The End. Fuck The Kid warp zone. Fuck Flywrench doubters.

Overall Super Meat Boy has a lot of content packed into this difficult adventure. It’s easy to blaze through the light world, but the better you are, the more content you unlock. I’ve seen people on the fence about getting Meat Boy for various reasons. If you’re not a fan of challenge I would stay far, far away from it. However, if you’re up for the heat, you’ll love the spice of this meat. There are a lot of ups and downs to this game, but I never wanted to give up or go back.

jogo muito bom, difícil e frenético IAIAIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

The controls are a little clunky and some levels are super unfair, but it's fun to replay levels for the A+ ranks and the secrets, at least most of the time.
