The forth Swordquest and the only one to not officially get released until recently, it's much like the other three games, not a bad thing though. There is even a flappy bird like stage. I'm very happy that someone decided to put this game out there.

Played as part of Atari 50.

40 years later and SwordQuest still sucks, yet again consisting of almost nothing but trial and error. Can't bring myself to hate this one quite as much as the others since it's more responsive and it doesn't suck quite as much to just run around in for like 10 minutes, but it's still pretty bad.

Although, it really does beg the question of how much people woulda fucking loved Flappy Bird if it was released on the 2600, though.

I appreciate the commitment to making it feel like the old games even if I don't like the old games. Though without the comic it loses a lot of the fun.

I'll give it a second star for Atari finally completing the 4th installment and hopefully they plan on doing another competition for this reimagined version.

The minigames here aren't as tedious as the rooms of exploration themselves are. I think for what it's worth, it's great they decided to finish it, and hopefully it leads to someone finally getting the sword.

Great job for finishing and adding it Atari.
Still cryptic and tedious as hell though.

Played on Atari 50

I gotta say, they did a good job capturing the feel of these games. More responsive menus as a bonus too. Still obtuse as ever though.
