Wonderful take on the city building genre. In Terra Nil you restore Fauna and Flora to devastated planets, then clean up after yourself.
A relaxing, low pressure gameplay loop with a great environmental message behind it that yet suprisingly pulls no punches - having to burn much of what I ve just careful created to create the right environment was a true gasp moment.
Rewildering all different animals is wonderfully motivating because they are cute as fuck.

Comecei adorando e achando a coisa mais relaxante do mundo e fiquei viciada por uns dias. No fim bateu a preguiça e acabei abandonando, mas o tempo que eu passei com ele foi gostoso. Talvez volte em algum momento.
Não gostei tanto das mecânicas das partes de reciclagem e para encontrar animais. A parte de reciclar me dava gastura de pensar e a dos animais eu achei um pouco obtusa e frustrante, porque se você errar 3 vezes não tem como refazer.
Também não rodou lá muito bem no meu celular o que prejudicou a experiência. Capaz de eu gostar mais dele no pc.

The first half is a nice, chill-vibes podcastgame that you can hang out with as its mechanics unfold.
The (optional) second half adds small twists that demand a tiny bit of thinking.
Neither is wholly captivating, but Terra Nil is, as a whole, a nice time.
Unless you're specifically interested in Terra Nil for its theme, I'd recommend trying Dorfromantik instead. It is similar but has more robust game design.

Terra Nil is an okay strategy game where the goal is to revitalize different parts of the world that are devoid of life. I feel like the game wanted to "say something" regarding the environment, but nothing audible came out by the time I reached the credits.
If the game had engaged with what caused the world to die out, or even what the point of the robots fixing things up was, I might have been more forgiving of the slow pace and monotonous tasks given to me.
