The Idolmaster: Gravure for You! Vol. 4
released on Jan 26, 2012
This is the fourth volume of The Idolmaster Gravure For You! series. It has a new compilation of songs: "TAKANE OrientalRedMIX". Interestingly, while the rest of the original mixes contain the idols' image color, Takane's image color (carmine) is replaced with "Oriental Red".

More in-depth review of Gravure for You! as a whole
Another day, another Gravure for You game, let's keep the grind going.
This time we have another Bikini beach theme and a new... bikini?... undergarments photoshooting theme... Again, new soundtrack but this time no new Ami loading screen song but instead in the bonus section we have a short clip of Haruka talking about herself in Japanese, that's kinda it.
Now for the anime, episode 9 is kinda boring, a SOL detective joke episode that isn't really all that interesting to watch.
Episode 10 is somewhat of a plot pusher, it's about the girls doing some... idol Olympics? It's a fine episode.
And Episode 11 is a true plot pusher forcing the girls to work harder to dance better to become the best idols possible, it's a bit boring but it's a necessary evil to push the plot forward.
Overall a pretty disappointing volume for the anime but a fine deal for the Gravure game.
Again, for 10$ it does the job as a Gravure game.

pretty much more of the same, what else can you expect from volume 4 of the same ass gravure game. This ones theme is another swimsuit photo shoot, very original. There's also another beach setting just in case the last 2 times it's happened wasn't enough for you. I wouldn't say this is worse than volume 2, but it's a close second. The new setting is just a pink box with rose petals falling, which doesn't really mesh well with like 80% of the poses that the idols can do, and the beach setting is better, I guess, but still something I definitely have already seen before twice in these games. There's still 5 more of these things to go and I hope they put some more variety in these in terms of locations to shoot at or at least like some new poses thrown in there but I really am not counting on it.
