The Idolmaster: Gravure for You! Vol. 9

released on Jun 28, 2012

This is the ninth and last volume of The Idolmaster Gravure For You! series. It has a new compilation of songs: "CHIHAYA BlueMIX". This volume also marked Ryo Akizuki's second HD appearance, featuring him in a special mode of the game. This mode allows players to take pictures of him wearing the "Sailor Swimsuit" costume and listen to him sing "Dazzling World" as the BGM music. Like the previous volume, an option was developed to allow pictures to be taken on a horizontal, empty beach as well as the option to use the "Sailor Cap" accessory. An unlockable costume is also available for Ryo to wear, "Good Sleep Pajamas", if you play wirelessly on the PS Vita. The costume is also available to be unlocked without the use of a PS Vita in the iM@S CHANNEL version of the game. The summer kimonos were also a new costume introduced by this volume.

More in-depth review of Gravure for You! as a whole

Ryooo RYOOOOOOOOOO :uoh: :sob: :sob:

Gravure for You! Vol. 9 marks the end of the sub-franchise and absolutely will not come back for the Cinderella Girl anime, of course not...
This version features Ryo Akizuki from Idolmaster: Dearly Stars, he can be seen with the iconic sailor outfit from Idolmaster 2 and can also be seen with the pajama outfit from Vol. 5 if you, check note play wirelessly on the PS Vita for some fucking reason, though the outfit is available by default in the IM@S Channel version. And obviously, the 765Pro idols have the unique New Year outfits and locations.

Now for the anime, episode 24 kinda sucked, it was the generic "MC is sad at the very end but realizes everything is ok because its all about friendship" and episode 25 is a fine conclusion, they sing, they dance, they are happy, just what i wanted.

They definitely ended the main G4U series on a good note as this is definitely the best out of the 9 imo. That being said, it's still not really a substantial game experience so I still can't recommend any of these games to anyone but the most sane imas fans (once again, me). This one is fireworks themed which honestly gives a whole lot of variety in the pictures given that now there's the fireworks going off to take into account when it comes to timing shots. There's also a swimsuit beach shoot for the second locale, who would have ever guessed. Ryo from dearly stars completes the trio from volumes 7 and 8, and there's even an extra scene/costume they can use if you play this under the right circumstances so that's cool. if you REALLY want to play a G4U game for some reason, just stick to this one unless you REALLY need the other locales from the other volumes. But really why the heck are you trying to take pictures of imas 2 models, that's my weird thing not yours
