released on Nov 12, 2002

The Simpsons Skateboarding is a sports video game where players have to skate in locations around Springfield. Nine characters are available to compete for the grand prize. Each character has over forty unique moves. Players can test their skills in either a two-player head-to-head skate off, or in one of the fast and furious modes: Freeskate, Skate Fest, Trick Contest, and a game of skateboard H-O-R-S-E, unlocking additional characters, locations, and skateboards.

"The Principal and the Pauper" of Simpsons games. Total ass.

I think they should've been tried as adults

Tony hawk, are you proud of the monster you birthed?

Christmas 2002: An excited 9 year old boy gets his hands on Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. Were it not for that game being one of the biggest disappointments of my young life, I would honestly say that The Simpsons Skateboarding being the other game I got that day would have been enough on its own to convince me that I had made the naughty list and Santa was getting creative with his punishments. A lump of coal would have been preferred.

It's a poor man's Tony Hawk Pro Skater, but in Springfield. I would be far more inclined to finish the damn game if it weren't so stiff and unresponsive and, thus, immeasurably frustrating.
