A decent Sonic clone that suffers with shoddy enemy placement in the back half. Buster can run like Sonic but once you hit the forest, there's no real chance to do so. There's good music, good graphics, and good difficulty. It's good, nothing more.

Konami never misses but the last eight levels suck donkey dick

I will never understand the unreasonable difficulty of the last levels in old games, because in the beginning they are quite simple and fun. One of the simple mechanics of running - acceleration, turns into a dangerous one, because the further you go through the levels, the more various obstacles you come across that kill you the first time and you can’t do anything about it.

The game is surprisingly good and manages to be quite memorable ...especially for what it seems to be a typical platformer with suspicious winks at Sonic and Mario.

The momentum and acceleration feels inventive and natural, and while the level design is nowhere near Sonic-quality, you can still find little pockets of streamlined speedrun potential that feel satisfying.
