A much-needed return to form for the WWE games series after 2K20's horrendous release.
+ Gameplay overhauls are great! The game is faster-paced and generally more fun - no more having to sit and let your opponent beat on you because you ran out of reversals!
+ Graphically the best-looking WWE game ever. Textures and lighting have been worked on heavily and all the character models have a decently close resemblance to their real counterparts (looking at you, 2K20 Molly Holly!).
- MyGM feels like a stripped-down version of what it was. Nowhere near as much intricacy and depth as the mode had during the SmackDown vs Raw era.
- MyCareer isn't as strong as previous editions, arguably even 2K20's. The individual storylines are disjointed from each other and it's difficult to roleplay your character much beyond just being a face or heel.
