This could've been one of the best shooters ever if they fixed any of the numerous issues that existed since day 1. The gameplay looped only kept me engaged for so long. I still play here and there but I don't think itll ever get back into my lineup of consistently played games.

if you want the experience of playing for a world championship prize pool every time you drop into a match, this is your BR. you have to spend an unbelievable amount of time just focusing on improving to have fun in this game. i dont understand how casual players can like it. its literally the faze jev meme of spawn die spawn die OR spend 10 minutes looting just to end up dying.

For me personally, this is the ultimate BR game. The blend of fast movement, gunplay and game mechanics works together nearly perfect. It also introduced many incredibly convenient components, like the ping system and voicelines for pretty much everything. And talking about voices: I LOVE the characters and how much detail is put into them. They really are the games personality, and make every single round feel so alive and situations feel even more fun or absurd.
Apex was actually pretty fun in the first 5-6 seasons, and I had no problem with occasionally spending money on a few apex packs to get a heirloom chance. But after the production of Heirloom skins there became a noticeable fall off, to the point now where EA is trying to justify one paying $300 for a death box.
Over time the game got more and more money hungry and stale in gameplay to the point where you really had to question whether or not all these resources pouring into the game could’ve been used to make TF3

Definitely a solidly built game, but if I want a hero shooter I've got better options and if I want a battle royale I've got even more options.

f2p combination of a hero shooter+battle royale, weighs too much: expect battle passes, 8 year old albanian children and no mic NPCs as your teammates and having 3% winrate
