This game sucks
This is like the coolest game ever. Never gone through and finished it formally, but it's a really good game, story isn't super heavy but it doesn't need to be, I just need to be able to play as mcgyver and blow people up with the turkey dynamite, or play as the terminator and propel myself to the end of the level with just a minigun alone, or play as neo and send bullets back at people, you get my point.

The wackiest, most testosterone filled game I think I've ever played (if you are trans masc I bet you'd transition in a couple sittings).
The puns are stupid, the art is perfect for the silly tone and the gameplay is explosive and fast with a wide variety of fun character abilities to use. Not something I can play for long spans of time, but is a fantastic time with friends.

is not as close to my heart as its free counterpart, expendabros. and maybe i should just play "good run 'n guns" like metal slug 3 or *yawns* contra. however, neither of those games let you tunnel under your enemy like an evil worm or suicide bomb every platform in a stage, creating a platforming gauntlet for whoever you're playing with. this is also the only video game ever (to my knowledge) that lets you play as blade, ash williams, cherry darling, AND ellen ripley. it's more of a power fantasy playground than your traditional r&g, which makes for FANTASTIC multiplayer experience, particularly with more casual players. sure, that makes for a less engaging singleplayer than the greats, but if i catch your ass critically critiquing the funny explosion simulator i'm bombing your ass into oblivion while you're not looking. just have fun with your friends, man. liberate some countries
