in the past

One of the best things happened to me in my youth! Soundtrack, plot, actors, game mechanics—all perfect! I've passed both campaigns on high difficulty! Red Zepellings are top!

I remember my high school graphic design teacher teaching me how to cheese my way into beating 7 enemy AIs at the hardest difficulty against me. What a great time.

This game is on my Mount Rushmore of RTS's (alongside SC2, AoE2, and Warcraft 3). I wish there was an easy way to play this on my modern PC. This game absolutely rules.

the soundtrack the cut scenes the graphics everything about this game is so quintessential 2000s i have no idea what i was doing but still had a blast

One of the best RTS games of all time. The unit variety and story keep it entertaining till the very end. It does not take itself very seriously which makes it a very fun experience to watch unfold.

it's TRue, if you take longer than 30 secs to put in the cd-key they send a SEAL team to take you out

I have the collection but this will do. I need to relive and beat all the games.

Eu joguei Red Alert 2 mais do que deveria e sinceramente é o meu segundo jogo de estratégia em tempo real preferido.

O primeiro obviamente é o Generals por motivos óbvios.

This RTS hasn't aged a day. Feels perfect even 20+ years later.

God now I wanna be a general, and conquer countries

Fun strategy game, and ways to build and engage enemies.

Even booting this up just to play against bots in skirmish it's still one of the most fun RTS games I've played, with some of the best music and voice lines I've ever heard in a game.

"Rubber shoes in motion" will forever be ingrained into my mind whenever I'm walking with some kind of heavier duty footwear on my person.

The platonic ideal of the single-player RTS. Almost perfect.

Very different factions, but each can counter the other's overwhelming strengths, so it's more about probing your enemy's defenses and figuring out the right angle. And sometimes the correct approach is A Lot Of Tanks.

Looks and sounds wonderful. FMV cutscenes with CyberLenin Udo Kier and President Ray Wise that embrace the camp and go all in on funny production design and overacting. Iconic soundtrack by Frank Klepacki and perhaps the best pre-rendered 3D of any RTS.

Campaign is basically flawless. Every mission is a puzzle that teaches you some interesting unit interactions, culminating in macro-scale matches that demand you apply everything you learned to date. Many little secrets and multiple approaches on each level makes exploration of the map profitable and fun.

In my heart, before my replay of this whole series, Tiberian Sun was the best one. But now, upon finishing Red Alert 2, I can confidently say it's the high point of Command and Conquer.

A hugely influential RTS classic that gave rise to my interest in strategy and base building games, with a soundtrack that echoes through the decades.

I have the collection but this will do. I need to relive and beat all the games.

Really good game at its time. I played it when I was a child and I still remember the feeling.

-Buildin' 3 Nuclear power plant for tha gold
-"Reinforcements have arrived"

Reality: -"Our base is under attack"

revolutionary RTS game with an incredible story, incredible music, incredible gameplay etc......
Red Alert 2 is arguably the most iconic command and conquer game for a reason.

Comunistas atacando EUA com lulas robôs

Your feeling of helplessness is your best friend, savage.

I completed both campaigns fully and i'm not even that into RTS games. It was that funny/good. Even played some matches against my dad back in the day, and i never saw him play a rts game before that or since.
