The Devil May Cry game with my personal favourite combat, but also some of the most garbage writing and humour as if it was written for a 14 year old.
this game is great, and is carried by the amazing combat, having perfected the smooth & fluidity across the Devil May Cry games, while although it is a great starter in the series, i still have a lot of problems when it comes with it, especially when it comes to characters and just how bland they are compared to their past games (Lady is probably like one of the most bland characters in videogame history in 5, which is insane cause she has so much character in the past games)

Simply 10/10. The pinnacle of this franchise in every aspect... There is no other DMC with the complexity of combos, fluidity, speed, animation, and sheer fun that compares to this. You can beat the game quickly but easily lose over 300 hours just testing new combos. I know many people don't like the gameplay with V, but you know what? I absolutely loved it. I think it's because I really liked the character (I love mysterious and tattooed emos) and had a lot of fun with the gameplay too. It's not better than Dante's chaotic gameplay (not even close), but I found it better than Nero's.

Potentially the best action game ever made, but not the best Devil May Cry, too much trivialization with lowered skill floor but not increased skill ceiling and V are it's main weak points but it just feels good to play, recommend to buy Vergil's DLC if you want to replay the game a lot.

Obviously the best DMC game, but small things keep it from being a 10/10, specifically some bad bosses and the lack of visual clarity. Realistic DMC looks cool and all, but maybe I don't wanna fight black and grey enemies in a dark and grey subway, y'know?

Because I played Devil May Cry 3 way back on the ps2 and it's one of my favourite games ever. This one just hits all the right spots on why I loved that game so much, 10/10 would erase memory to experience it again.
It's almost perfect but it feels too easy
This is one of the most feature complete action games ever made. It also has really boring level design that is either a bunch of ugly flesh hallways connected with ugly flesh arenas, or ugly city hallways connected with city arenas. The pursuit of realism also comes at the expense of things that have been standard in the series since the first game (jump canceling not being frame one). It’s a good game. It’s just nowhere near as good as 3 and especially nowhere near as good as 1

Absolutely a peak action game, it's short campaign with the unlock system does hinder you really utilizing the full potential of the game's combat system so I'm glad I went back and replayed some levels once I unlocked more moves and it really clicked. Dante's moveset is given some fresh new additions that are welcome and the returning weapons are the necessary ones to really make this the right balance for the perfect stylish action game character. Nero also is much better than 4 with the variety of the robotic arms really allowing much more experimentation and the air juggle potential later on is insane and extremely fun. V is fun to use but his playstyle does sometimes get really repetitive and one-note but the game does use him sparingly enough to not make it a big bother.
I did have issues with how samey a lot of the levels looked as well as the level gimmicks not being that interesting and the story ending too soon after things got really interesting. It's still a must play game regardless and I'm glad I finally got through this entire series and had a blast.

PERFEITO LINDO CHARMOSO BURY THE LIGHT
This was my entry point into the series. My bestie is the DMC guy, and he forced me to buy it while it was on sale. IT was very good! I liked playing as Dante and V more than Nero, but that doesn't mean Nero was unfun or anything. The combo system is really cool and Dante having a motorcycle weapon is so awesome. Ill have to play the other games at some point. Also need to play as funny Vergil

What DMC4 was supposed to be content wise with a good story and amazing gameplay. The visuals can be bland on occasion and you’ll get used to seeing red and white, the game also loses the inertia system that made 4’s combat feel so unique and satisfying.

Desinstalei depois do primeiro boss, acho que passou tem tempo a era dos hacknslash, só corredor, repetitivo que só, personagens chatos, talvez tudo fosse verdade no 3 mas sei lá, outros tempo?
Great game, so much fun! I'd definitely play it again but I refuse to buy the same game again for the PS5 version.
