My original review I said "everything this game does DiRT Rally did better"

I rescind that review. The only thing this game lacks that DiRT Rally doesn't is a proper offline career mode. (always online single player game is obnoxious)

Super fun if played in VR and a steering wheel

as if the game wasn't stressful enough theres a man reciting math at you while you try not to flip the car over

I once learned how to play this game.

Vrum Vrum Vrum, terra e capotamento

Dark souls of racing. Amazing experience with gamepad.

after a while, i came back to the game, determined to complete the historic mode. at first, it felt really satisfying to be able to rely on your co-driver, to drive new tracks, and to have to handle cars from different eras in order to defeat a tough ai. eventually, though, some of the downsides of the original dirt rally became apparent. it got tiring to play the same stages over and over again, especially considering that the dlc cars and locations were not integrated into this mode. eventually, with only two classes left, i gave up trying to finish first in every one.

playing this as someone who has never drove and has no idea how to is genuinely fucking hilarious

THE best simcade rally experience on PC.

Whether you are hauling ass in a Ford Escort (my personal favorite rally car) or flying through the forests of Finland in a more modern rally machine, you will gain a massive appreciation for the guts and skill it takes to pilot a rally car through a stage. Guttural and realistic sound design immerse you into the game while you hang on for dear life. Ample amounts of content for both fans of single-player and multiplayer mean that most people will find their preferred mode of operation.

The only gripe I can think of is that the physics engine becomes a bit subpar when flying around on tarmac but it isn't game-breaking considering the vast majority of the time, you'll be racing and sliding around on dirt or gravel.

With just about every memorable rally car in history as well as a wide berth of locations that span around the world, this is Codemasters' Magnum Opus.

Doesn't have the physics of RBR but it's far more polished and accessible for the average player

The challenging rally game that we've needed since the series returned with Dirt Rally in 2015. With better physics, all-new cars and locations and some rallycross for variety this game is racing at its most difficult and mastering it to some can simply be staying on the road. Playing with a wheel is recommended because it's just so much more visceral.

A game for masochists or for rally enjoyers. Not for me for sure.

I bounced HARD off this one. After putting 20 or so hours into DiRT Rally I thought it would behoove me to jump into it's sequel guns blazing. Thankfully with steam family share I could borrow my friends copy without taking the financial hit (and I missed the recent sale). 5 hours later... I have nothing to say about this game that doesn't boil down to "DiRT Rally did that better."

I love rallying its so fun and relaxing I would totally do this in real life but I would probably crash multiple times and break all the bones in my body when i crash into a mountain at 200kph

Divertido, mas joguei só algumas pistas... Não é pra tanto.

I love racing games and this is a really decent rally game. The problem I have with it is for some reason it hates my PC and crashes all the time. It's like the only game that does this to me.

Driving one track back and forth for an hour is not really what I want from a racing game, but I got this game for free from PS+ so I gave it a go. Career events were just too long and boring. Best way to play this game was to create short custom championships and forget that career mode even exists. Didn't find this game hard at all. Completed pretty much everything on first try.

Increíble variedad de autos con físicas precisas y difíciles de masterizar, tracks desafiantes y únicos, variedad de modos de juego y overall una excelente experiencia de conducción, probablemente el mejor juego actual de rally

I suck at this game, but I enjoy it so much anyway. Definitely a steep learning curve, but when you start to get the hang of it, it's one of the best and most realistic rally games out there. Must-have for any sim racer.

Half of the time I end up like Paul Walker

En son Dirt 3 oynamıştım. O yüzden pek karşılaştırabileceğim bir oyun yok. Ama baya eğlenceli. Özellikle gamepad veya direksiyonunuz varsa çok daha eğlenceli olabilir.

Last time I played Dirt 3, so I don't have much to compare it to. But it's a lot of fun. Especially if you have a gamepad or steering wheel, it can be much more fun. yes this is google translate translation

They ain’t wrong about it being dark souls of racing games.

dirt rally's sequel is a notable upgrade from the original game. it retains the same core mechanics and physics while delivering a broader range of cars, tracks, and improved online features, particularly in terms of leaderboards and events. this was an especially great experience because it was the first sim i played with my newly g29. the rally experience at the wheel was fantastic.

Its a stripped back and very focused rally game which isn't a problem at all. There isn't the unnecessary bloat in this game that modern racing games suffer from. Social features are at a minimum and reduced to inviting other players and that's great.

The gameplay is solid and feels like a great balance between the arcadey type racers and a sim game, making it accessible but increasingly challenging to master.

It still suffers from the awkward 3rd party camera making it look like you are floating above the tracks surface, but this is something that all modern racing games suffer from.

Lastly, the pace notes you receive are great. When you are in the zen state they feel so fluid and like they are being spoken at the perfect tempo. They are so good you can break your lights off and follow the pace notes to victory even in the dark.

Played with a PS5 controller that did need some remapping to get working, but acceptable considering the game came out before the ps5.

Great rally sim with challenging stages and controls. It is the best rally game of this console generation. The graphics are decent, the sounds are amazing and it has a good variety of rally cars from various eras. Also, the inclusion of the World Rallycross Championship is definitely a plus.Overall it is a great game and if you are into rallying it's a must buy.
