Really good puzzle game and managed to get both endings. For a challenge get the palettes and the secret rocket head near the warp of 6. Loses half a star due to wanting the game to be longer.

A very nice little puzzle platform with good feeling controls and clean aesthetic.

The game's two endings both feel like they come a bit out of nowhere because of the lack of related story.
I kinda accidentally got to the first ending of the game pretty early in my playthrough. So its nice that there was a second one to give me some closure once I was done with the game.

Short and sweet, a puzzle-platformer that really gets your brain working in the back half. Love the style of it and the end is really something.

A brief and creative puzzle platformer where you throw your electrified head at obstacles to power up platforms and switches. Its simple yet catchy soundtrack and deceivingly simple design are a great afternoon romp.

Very cute and creative puzzle game that doesn't overstay it's welcome and delivers a warm and smart experience.

spiritual successor of VVVVVV, clever puzzles through good level design. shitty and gimmicky ending.

Shocking that I liked this one, right? Pun aside, Elechead is adorable. That's the best way to describe my experience. I was just sitting down and playing an adorable game. This is going to be a shorter review, but this is admittedly a shorter game. This did not make the game any less fun.

The controls are so simple. Move, jump, and throw your head. Your head is a battery, so you can use it to send electric currents to places and use it to your advantage. Unfortunately, you can't survive without your head forever. This leads to a lot of fun puzzles where you have to try and redirect your electricity (and in some cases, try to NOT get shocked).

Unlike a lot of games I've played, this one gets right to the point. You don't need to sit through a long opening. It's just start the game and go. This means there are no long tutorials or anything. There are just text boxes that show up in the background. Longer openings work for some games, but I do appreciate that Elechead just starts.

I actually came across Elechead by pure chance like Everhood before it. I just happened to see Elechead in a presentation, and when I heard it was developed by just one person, I had to check it out. Cave Story was made by just one guy too, so I was sure this would at least be good.

This is honestly one of the cutest games ever. Play it. It's short, sweet and worth your time. The mascot is adorable. The soundtrack is a bop. Just play it. It's pretty cheap too, if I recall. If it's not, it's still worth it. Go pick it up. Do it. Go right now. Really, stop reading this review and go find it.

Really cute short 'n' sweet puzzle platformer with light Metroidbrainia elements. Features stellar 2-bit visuals, 8-bit-ish audio, and some pretty modern design sensibilities that make it a must-play.

A lot of interesting and fun puzzles.

Brilliant puzzle platformer with a crisp retro aesthetic. Perfect balance of difficulty. Never too challenging. Interesting vague story involving the sun exploding and the power for the world being knocked out. Two endings show either the moon or Earth being destroyed by you and then heading towards a new sun. Some of the puzzle design was incredible; Using a locked exit to get through a puzzle by collecting the token that unlocks it and your head then falls through, causing the blocks to disappear allowing you to escape. The puzzles slowly open up difficulty-wise and you start to realize you can do things with your head you didn’t know were possible. Its logic and rules all build upon each other and you start to learn its complexities. It’s truly incredible. Getting 100% can be a bit of slog with backtracking and finding specific paths to reach certain areas again.

A fairly ingenious puzzle platformer that pulls off the Zelda trick of making the player feel smart. The visuals are so clear and tuned and the shocking electrification deaths often make me laugh with glee.

A polished Metroid-like puzzle platformer that works smoothly with its simple presentation and electric conductivity mechanics that are conveyed through the design without using a single word (not even in the menus or the achievements). It throws some good ideas around and the collectibles aren't as easy to get and one may initially think. The soundtrack isn't great though, being not that notable through most of the playthrough, but the presentation is alright.

Fun platformer that doesn't overstay its welcome. Recommended for indie platformer fans.

nice visual style, level design, mechanics concept. I wanna get back to it soon, just don't have the time

neat puzzles, creative in some aspects

short little puzzle platformer that is extremely clever. genuinely such a great example of how simple features and a focus on level design can include a LOT of complexity. i had a lot of fun with it!

creative and fun puzzle platformer. mostly focuses more on puzzles than platforming

Clever puzzle platformer. Just the right length.

ElecHead is a quintessential puzzle platformer with a stylish presentation and minimalist storytelling. The puzzles along the main path are largely about execution rather than brain-burning complexity. However, after a couple hours the game starts becoming extremely secret oriented which is really not my preferred style. That said, this game is unique and exceptionally well-executed.

This is a tough one to review. It's a really creative puzzle platformer that does a better job at the "puzzle" side of that genre than most of its peers. It's short, thought-provoking, and looks great. Unfortunately, it's also got a weirdly obtuse ending that basically ended up with me playing through the game twice trying to figure out how to end it.

fun little puzzle game, but collecting all 20 collectibles to unlock ANY ending isn't cool

Almost a perfect little puzzle platformer - short and sweet but explores its core mechanics fully and satisfyingly.

ElecHead is great. It's a faux-8-bit puzzle platfomer with an earwormy soundtrack and a minimal but clean aesthetic that put me in mind of Downwell, another banger. The central mechanic involves using electricity to get from room to room, typically by flinging your electricity-conducting head ('ElecHead', geddit?) from place to place while you manouever your body independently, jumping over obstacles, grabbing keys and timing jumps. The puzzles build on each other successfully, and barring a particularly obscure one towards the end, I was able to complete the entirey game without using a guide. Some rooms had me proper stumped for a while, but that made (eventually) finding the solutions all the more rewarding.

I got all of the achievements and found all of the optional collectibles in about 4 hours. There are instant restarts and lots of checkpoints to stop things from becoming frustrating, even if (according to the end-game screen) I died over 300 times. ElecHead cost me £6.40 in a recent sale and I had a lovely time with it all round. It's out on Steam and Switch and if you like games like Baba Is You or Braid then you'll probably like this, too.

jogo de puzzle divertido, que vale a pena se voce tem dinheiro sobrando

Perfect little puzzle platformer.

Feels a lot like a jam game expanded into a full product. Puzzles are constantly finding interesting ways to expand on the main mechanic. Simple but very fun and well designed :)

Lovely little platformer, with a neat pace of new ideas to work with. A couple of moments where pixel-perfect precision is required, and some unclear signposting that forced me to turn to a walkthrough, knock the star off.
