Fantastic mod that rivals some AAA games in quality: doesn't exactly conflict with the lore, weaving itself in instead, filling in the holes that were left by original half life
Main complaint is that the protagonist is an edgy IMNOTLIKEEVERYONEELSE tard and his talking & the fact that he's essentially a mary sue can be a bit annoying but it's tolerable enough. Feels slightly campy due to the inclusion of Race X (which was unnecessary) but meh, can't make an omelette if you don't break some eggs
Very good game mechanics, I've enjoyed playing around with xen grenades and MP5, action sequences are great and don't feel stupid, I've felt fully immersed. Almost impossible to get lost, game design is great albeit contains multiple non-gamebreaking bugs, such as: Wounded combine soldier not picking up the gun, requiring multiple saves/reloads to do so and the black turret named Wilson being a piece of shit that can fling you into the sky or 10 meters away from him if you're not careful with standing next to him.
Who is Wilson? TL:DR upgraded, talking Garden Gnome from HL2EP2. Be sure to carry him around: he can access multiple interfaces scattered throughout the game after few first chapter, which lead to supplies.

Extremely fanservicey, and that's perfectly fine. I soyfaced when I saw a pit drone in Source for the first time.
Probably my favorite source game, also got me a boyfriend which is pretty sick.

Genuinely incredible mod that masterfully expands upon Half-Life's story. It brings together so many elements from across the series like the connections to the Portal games with characters like Wilson and bringing back enemies from the original Half-Life and it's expansion Opposing Forces in such a way that you can tell this was made by people that truly loved the series. The story is also surprisingly deep and existentially and really goes into how desperate the people who join the Combine are. It's really commendable how Breadman and his team managed to make such an amazing sequel to a fairly barebones mod. Would highly recommend.

Esse jogo É PERFEITO, e eu NÃO LIGO para o que falem. A gameplay é boa, a história é boa, EU AMO O WILSON, as músicas são marcantes, a música dos créditos foram direto para a minha playlist. Adoraria ter amnésia só pra poder experienciar esse jogo de novo pela primeira vez. E JOGUE CARREGANDO O WILSON ATÉ O FINAL.

O que eu posso dizer de um mod de Half-Life que é MELHOR que Half-Life? Tudo nesse jogo tem um charme tão especial, as animações feitas do Zero mostram um carinho que o Homem Pão teve ao jogo. A história é extremamente bem escrita tendo mais dialogos do que um mod gratuito como esse deveria ter. E possui simplesmente o robô mais carismatico da história dos jogos. Meu eterno e amado Wilson.

A very fun and mostly effective addition to Half-Life that definitely feels like the best fan-mod for any Valve game by far. It's fun, it's inventive, and while there are some re-used locations and such at the beginning, it takes a turn into very original territory and ends up just becoming very fun. The voice acting is a huge step up from the first one, as well as just about everything else. I will say my biggest complaint is that it gets a little repetitive at around 2/3 into the game, but after an hour or so picks back up very nicely. I dunno, it's fun! it's good! i would definitely recommend this, it's very good and focused and knows exactly what it wants to be. play it! it's literally free!

This is the HL2 equivalent of opposing force, keeping what stays good with some new stuff added in as well. Took everything good from EZ:1 and improved on it tenfold.

Genuinely one of the only fan games in the valve universe to actually feel like it fits perfectly, the writing is definitely good and up there- something that honestly could compete with modern AAA writing (albeit not hard but it was a small Dev team).
Aiden walker himself is a character I really love, I think that he has corny-ish and edgy lines at times but I think in a way that's what makes me like him even more, although the only nitpicking I have is that he feels a tad bit mary-sue at times but in a way it doesn't really matter since every other protagonist in half life has the same trait.
The angle and new view of being the 'bad guys' of half life was actually really fun, and personally I enjoyed it a lot more than the hl2 base game with Gordon, and I really love half life opposing force as well so it was a perfect game for me. Wilson was such a good character too, and having to make that conscious effort to haul him around and slowly see Aiden's tough guy personality fade away around him- (especially considering his backstory) was probably the icing on the cake for me. I cried like a bitch near the end when the whole Wilson death scare happened, and I think I genuinely got very attached to having him around 24/7.
All the endings are decently bleak and honestly, before I did the gman ending I guessed that it would just be his fate to have a bleak and empty ending, which disappointed me slightly, but after the G-mans ending and what I consider the true ending it left some hope that there's going to be a continuation of entropy zero and overall was such a fitting way to end it.
I highly recommend this fan game, not only is it free if you own half life 2, but it was probably some of the most enjoyable and fitting gameplay and story I've ever seen for a fan game.

Played trough the first game because this one was so hyped that I though it may be worth it. Gonna be honest, I don't think these games would have even half the praise they got if it was not for them being in the half life universe. I feel pretty much nothing while playing them and I think I should just cut it and stop wasting my time. Sorry.
