Spent 2 hours installing mods: played for 5 minutes.

Replayed and got mr house ending after the fallout show dropped

After five long years of slowly working away at it, I've beaten my first Fallout game and it feels pretty good. Counterintuitively, as much as I profess myself a fan of RPGs, I'm actually quite bad at finding the time to complete longer ones. If I'm not sitting at a tabletop with friends, it's hard for me to stay invested in the story and world I'm being tasked to interact with. Despite all of this, Fallout New Vegas has been the one I could return to and I think my beating it is proof enough of its quality.

Best modern RPG that properly balance crpg sensibilities with approachability. One day we'll get another fallout game on this level, I hope.

Would be better if it didn't crash every 10 minutes.

It's LARPers vs the IRS and you're in the crossfire! There's also a weird rich asshole in a pod. And there's you, the mailman and you get to decide who runs Vegas! (Don't choose any of those options, always go yes man)

GUERRA.... A GUERRA NUNCA MUDA

Just crashed a shit ton, gonna buy it on console and try to play it again.

"They asked if I knew anything about Theoritcal Physics, I said I had a theoretical degree in Physics"

A game I've replayed many times and one thet still surprises me on how thought out this game is. Replayed with the NCR route this time even though I don't agree with it but still left satisfied. Forgot to get rex a new brain so, was sad to see the ending slides.

A typical buggy broken Bethesda mess but the story and writing is so strong that it’s still a great experience, the way you can side with or against all of the different factions is sick as hell and if you enjoy the typical Bethesda gameplay loop then this is one of the best of them all

peak gaming, one of the best

Injogável e incompleto, mas divertido

One of the best Action RPGs that I have played, and arguably the best of the Fallout "3D" era. Characters are great, story and DLC's are excellent, and progression doesn't feel like a chore, it's very organic.

F:NV sadly runs on the Gamebryo engine which by 2010 was already very outdated and it shows in the gameplay, feeling very stiff and wonky, very janky animations, and graphics that, to be honest, aren't really up to standards even from 2010 (games like Bioshock 2 or Darksiders came out the same year), and, as the cherry on top, MANY technical problems that can and will bug out, crash, and softlock the game.

With this in mind, it's still one of the best that Obsidian has put out and eveyone should play it at least once in their life.

Awesome Game, 4/5 stars would play again. Thumps up :)

New Vegas is a janky, buggy mess, and I absolutely love it. The Mojave Wasteland is super atmospheric, the quests are wild (in the best way), and your choices feel way more impactful than other Fallouts. Gunplay is kinda clunky, and yeah, it'll glitch on you sometimes, but the world, the characters, and the sheer roleplaying freedom make up for all of it. If you want a classic open-world RPG experience that doesn't hold your hand, New Vegas is a must-play.

Lo que jugue me gusto bastante para no llamarme nunca los Fallouts y ser mas de Elder Scroll pero me acabe aburriendo y seguro que me lo acabo pasando cuando me de la venada

Something about Bethesda's games these days just bore me to tears. I can't explain it, I used to love their games but whenever I play them now I'm just so unbelievably bored.

i’m sure the writing is great or gets better but so far it’s just a walking simulator for me and has been pretty boring :(

7/10 writing, 4/10 everything else. total snoozefest for the most part

O GOAT, runzinha melee só pela piada, um dos jogos feitos.

MI PERSONALIDAD SE BASA EN ESTE JUEGO

Yes Man Ending, such a great game.

Easily some of the strongest writing I've seen in a video game paired with janky and frustrating combat that can make much of the moment-to-moment experience a chore to get through.

Balancing out all its parts, New Vegas is still a very good game. For as frustrating as some of its individual aspects may be, they aren't central to the experience in the same way that the story and writing are. Both in the macro-level conflict between the NCR and Legion and on the micro-level writing of the various characters and factions across New Vegas, the quality and quantity of writing are some of the most impressive I've seen in a game. So while the rough gameplay occupied a majority of my actual playtime, its always the writing that I think about instead when I look back at my experience.

New Vegas is absolutely worth playing. Just turn the difficulty down to easy and don't pick fights that you don't need to. Dedicate your attention to the game's strong writing and keep your involvement in other aspects to the minimum needed to get the full experience from the parts that are actually worth getting through.

The single greatest Western RPG of all time.

Maximize your damage output by being bisexual now that is gaming.

In spite of its clunky combat and dated-at-launch visuals, New Vegas manages to become a classic. Exploring the Mojave and uncovering the relations between the various factions and characters is a great time. The DLCs don’t quite live up to the main game, with Dead Money in particular being a slog with non-melee builds.
