I enjoyed the tactical aspect. Made me rage quit a few times, but I always came running back to it.
A aula de informática do colégio era "jogar qualquer jogo instalado". E quando vi aquela minhoca no ícone, toda aula era Worms com meus amigos. No final do ano, a professora ainda deixou os alunos escolherem um jogo para levar para casa. O resto é história.

such a fun(ny) game to play with friends, probably my favorite game to play with a group of 4 or 5 friends
A timeless game that holds up to the current day. Still runs on windows 11, received an official patch on steam as recently as 2020, and has built in modding support in the form of wormkit modules, most importantly of which is wormnat2, enabling the hosting of servers without the need for port forwarding or firewall rules, that anyone can join, including players not using wormnat2.

This is the most addicting video game ever made, I've been playing it nonstop since the day I got it. I could give this game to a drug addict and they would be converted into a worms addict. This is better than anything else in the world. Forget a review, forget everything. Play it now. NOW.
90% sure I played this during my childhood. First Worms game ever played, laughed so hard the first time I tried the holy bomb.
Worms 2 made many great improvements over the original with the cartoony art-style that made our Worm friends easier to see and the faster paced gameplay. However it was only ever released for the PC meaning that console owners were left out on the wormy mayhem for the time being.
Then two years later in comes Armageddon, the game that was originally supposed to have been the end for the small pink warriors but instead would usher in an array of new entries to come over the years including World Party two years later which acted as a expansion pack for this game.
No doubt though that Armageddon is still the absolute peak of pure pinky mayhem with it's incredibly fun gameplay, missions and of course the superb multiplayer making for a perfect game to get friends around and blow the big ol' shit out of each other.
It all makes for a good time and easily the best entry in the Worms series to date.

Wasted many hours in the custom game mode, but could never beat the main campaign as a kid. Still very fun.
Maybe this is being carried by nostalgia, but I have such fond memories of playing this silly and charming game with my siblings and friends back in the day.
My friend bought me this to play with them. I have named my worms god awful things but beating my friends was always fun.
