The perfect 3D Mario. Will never be topped.

pretty good but 1 is better

anyone who says this is better than the first is insane

The actual best Mario game. GOD it's good.

It's more Mario Galaxy, now with Yoshi. The actual levels are objectively great, though I desperately miss the hub world. The face ship and abandoning any pretense of a story really took away a lot of charm in my opinion. This is basically a really good level pack.

not as insanely good but still very charming

Ligeramente superior al primero lo cual es confirmar que es un pepinarro

nintendo demostrando que es lo más innovador y divertido que hay

Sad to say that Nintendo didn't quite snap with this one but it's still good I think

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is everything a sequel should be. It takes what the original did and simply adds on to it.

Game 9 of Mario Marathon

I absolutely love this game. It does what Super Mario World did for 2D Mario but for 3D. This is the one where it really feels hammered down. While I know many fans felt this game was just an "expansion pack" on the original the level design in this one is just on another level better. A lot of fluff was removed and I personally do not miss it that much.

There really isn't a level I hate. The Green Stars in the bird levels are a little obnoxious because it relies on the annoying tilt controls of the Wii-Mote but they aren't as bad as the Manta Ray races in Galaxy 1. Grandmaster Galaxy is a great final challenge that while feels relatively simple on a segment-by-segment basis becomes a tought gauntlet when paired all together with only 1HP at your disposal.

I forgot to even mention Yoshi is in it. He's super fun to use in it too. I really can just go on for hours about every little thing I like about this game but I'm just trying to do a short log. I put this right up there on a Mario Mount Rushmore with 3 and World. What's the fourth one? We'll see!

A step-up from the original Mario Galaxy, which was already amazing to begin with. Loved nearly all of the mechanics introduced in this game and the ones brought back from the original. Prefer the level select format in this game compared to the hub world pacing in SMG1. Don't miss the Rosalina story segments, so no big loss there. Still doesn't provide a significant challenge throughout the game, but it does offer an endgame final challenge, as well as the Green Star hunts.

Great Game in almost all respects. Music, level design, replayability, content. It is all there. This is arguably one of the best single player experiences I've played. The Story is a bit rushed compared to the first game but I'm fine with that.

If this was an expansion pack for the first game and not just a self-contained sequel it would be the best game of all time. The levels are a bit linear and some of the green stars are bitches but other than that these are the most fun Mario games for me

This game is better than a simple sequel or copy paste of the original galaxy, expands the mechanics, has the better levels and bosses, it doesn't have a better story though and some design decisions are questionable...

Galaxy 2 takes what came before and builds upon it perfectly. Don't fix what isn't broken.

Also flawless (except maybe the final level)

While at gameplay is far better than Galaxy 1, I kind of prefer the other more because of the Rosalina's story.

Lo mismo que el 1 pero mejores niveles ¿Qué más se le puede pedir a Mario? Se pierde el HUB central y la historia de Estela pero si os sincero... me importa muy poco.

Derivative of Galaxy 1 without enough gameplay changes to warrant a sequel. Still fun, but it feels like more of the same instead of the monumental experience of first playing through the original Galaxy.

slightly prefer the 1st one but still a masterpiece

less memorable locations compared to smg1 but the much, much better game overall

the best mainline mario game
