fucked up how this game was better sometime during development than how it is now

I mean I still really being able to make stupid little grubber things and other stuff but like fuckkkkk this game just doesnt hit beyond creature stage at all

just started this game and I really enjoy how the creature stage is 99% walking around looking for body parts to form more interspecies friendships, but also you can't use those body parts so you have to tediously go around killing other species for DNA points to use the actually good body parts otherwise you simply can't make any friends. really not a great thing to put so early into the game
