This is a great Kiryu adventure with some rad boss fights and I'm big into Pocket Circuit and I don't even find little girl Haruka anywhere as annoying as most people.

Story 4.3 | Gameplay 4.5 | Audio 3.5 | Visual 5 | Details 4 | Entertainment 5 | Open World 4.8

Total 4.4

I loved the story and the new characters in general, but speaking of gameplay, it's the same as Yakuza 0, which isn't bad, but it could be different.
Majima Everywhere is an interesting mechanic to improve the player's fighting skills, but from rank A onwards it becomes extremely annoying for Majima to appear all the time and you need to waste minutes to defeat him, it's not hard, just boring

STILL FUCKS!!! GAME GOES HARD!!!

Yakuza Kiwami is a wild ride from start to finish! The story is a gripping crime drama with crazy twists, the combat is over-the-top and brutal, and there's so much ridiculous side stuff to do. Karaoke, arcade games, even hostess club management – it's pure Japanese chaos at its best. It's a bit dated now, and the difficulty spikes can be frustrating, but if you want a unique action-adventure experience packed with personality, Kiwami is a solid choice.

Combat felt atrocious at times but I will not sugar coat it

I'd let him punch me...not that I'd have a choice

gameplay really really good story mediocre fuck majima everywhere review over

The boss fights were ass in my opinion, yakuza 0 outshines this but overall a great remake of the original

to think that a PS2 game had an actual mechanics , open world and story like this back in 2005 is actually insane .

It's a solid remake. has the best villain in the series. mostly retains Y0's combat. The "Majima everywhere" mechanic very quickly wears out it's welcome. music is good but not as good as the original (imo). Lacking Nishki's famous line.

Not as good as 0, but good. Every character that I liked got killed off. Story felt kinda weird in pacing and writing but I liked Nishiki's story for the most part. Majima Everywhere was simultaneously extremely funny and extremely irritating. Combat got pretty annoying so I turned it down to easy and it was still pretty annoying.

Loved it, but by the end most boss battle are extremely annoying

I actually think this games problems are pretty obvious. I have yet to play the original Yakuza (One day), but even I can tell the presentation here is not even close to the original. From what I have seen, pretty much the only charecter this game does anything new with (that isnt also bad in a way) is Nishiki. He has a gut renching story, which hurts all the more after playing 0 for the first time.

Listen I love Majima but holy shit why is Majima everywhere, its funny for like two seconds and then you look at the upgrade chart.
