This game is so good!! The bitsize stories really help give variety to the game. The abilities are complex and add an incredible amount of replayability, and the multiplayer is perfect. Do check out the remake, though.

I had a craving to replay Kirby Super Star in some capacity and choose to play this version. Even though I played Kirby Super Star Ultra first and think that version is better, this version is still fantastic and deserves the praise it gets. Spring Breeze is pretty simple and probably just a watered-down version of the original game but still a good experience. Dyna Blade is also pretty simplistic like Spring Breeze but they are not the main highlights. Pretty much everything else are though. Gourmet Race is a mode that combines platforming with a mix of racing while also requiring you to collect as much food as possible. It's definitely something that can get addicting and I do remember playing it a bunch in the remake. Meta Knight's Revenge has a cool story and that's where the platforming reaches its peak. Great Cave Offensive has a lot of really cool secrets and the exploration is great. Milky Way Wishes is also pretty good, but its highlight for me is the twist with Marx and his final boss fight which is pretty iconic in my opinion. Besides a couple of small minigames that are really fun, the last game is a boss rush called The Arena. Fighting all the bosses in one gauntlet is a decent challenge and a great mode to add. In summary, this game is a masterpiece and not only one of the best Kirby games but one of the best SNES games as well. Sakurai really needs to make more games that are not Smash.

The fact this series hasn't come back in any form is a massive shame.

I enjoyed this a lot. It is combat focused and lets you run wild with different sets and it encourages you to try as many styles as possible. This DLC actually made the spear become my fave weapon to use.

The boss fights with a certain character were challenging and fun.

I also liked the setup they did for future games, and the continued development for Kratos even after the events of the first two games. It shows SSM is being careful with Kratos' character and they aren't just rushing into anything.

Very good overall.

started it hoping to find a chill walking sim with some phylosophy about deja vu, life and sh*t but ended up finding a 25 min exerience with bad visuals and a lot of nonsense written with zero effort and brain

It puts me to sleep after a few hours, but I DO keep returning to it a couple times a year. Occasional moments of quiet beauty, dignity, heroism. Far more moments of dumb samurai cliches and tired game design. There are a handful of missions that capture the breathless excitement of a climactic village-battle like you remember from Seven Samurai. The combat system is at it's best when you are racing around a chaotic fight, barely managing to save less skilled warriors (or farmers) than yourself, using whatever tools you have at the moment.

Retracting my previous negative review on this game because I just saw a piece of Jack x Astos yaoi

Sea of thieves feels like a "nothing-game" to me. It is kind of like hanging out in a park. The park in itself may be pretty, there may be some activities you can do there, but overall the park itself has no objective to complete. Going to the park alone offers not much else than a nice break from whatever you were doing, but you can't describe it as "fun". The fun comes when you bring your friends and you start messing around.

The fun doesn't come from the game, it comes from your friends. While Sea of Thieves is charming and has started to introduce storylines, it overall feels pointless. After playing the game for 30 minutes you have seen everything it has to offer. It is one person steering the boat, the others jumping around, emoting or randomly shooting around until you reach your objective, at which point you run to the chest, maybe do some mediocre combat, and return with the treasure which is honestly a pain to drag from your boat to the store.

It's not really fun, and you are not rewarded for your time. There is no progression. Your boat won't change, you cannot find new weapons, there are no upgrades, no nothing. What you spawn in with is what you get. You do all of this to get currency to buy skins. This sounds cool, until you realize most of these same skins can just be bought for real cash. So there is nothing to gain by playing the game.

Loses half a star just for how irritating Aloy is.

Metal Gear Solid did not dissapoint. This was a fantastic experience. It shows some age in combat and gunplay but I loved binging it this week for the story and stealth. I highly reccomend playing this game blind, as the many twists and 4th wall breaks are SO worth experiencing first hand. There are two endings too, and I'm excited to do a replay someday. Playing Metal Gear Solid was worth the hype.

Played this one on PS3 before and while liking it, couldn't quite appreciate it. My replay gave me new appreciation for the title. I love the story, the music and characters. The intro sequence (after the flashback) is just amazing and while the gameplay is mediocre af, it doesn't really deviate from my enjoyment.

Almost want to downgrade this edition because of it's shitty DLC, but it's easily ignored. Don't touch it.

Mid-horror-movie soup which sustains a relentlessly vague plot mostly through production value.
